Mediator directory questions
Who can appear in the mediator directory?
Mediators on the Practice plan whose practice opts in to directory listing. Each listed colleague gets a public profile with photo, bio, credentials, practice areas, and a book link. Solo mediators use personal booking pages but are not listed in the searchable directory unless they upgrade to Practice.
How do parties search for a mediator?
Parties browse the directory by location, practice area, and accreditation — then open a public profile to read credentials and session types. They can save favourites to a shortlist to compare before booking on a personal page or a practice-wide link.
Does Neutly select a neutral for parties?
No. The directory helps parties discover mediators who have chosen to list publicly. It is not a court registry, panel appointment service, or neutral-selection marketplace. Mediators remain responsible for conflicts checks and accepting matters.
Can parties book directly from a directory profile?
Yes. Listed profiles include integrated booking — parties see live availability, session types, and fees, then confirm a time without a separate email thread. Practice-wide links let parties choose their mediator before picking a slot.
How do mediators improve discoverability beyond the directory?
Keep your NMAS or association listings up to date, link to your booking page from accreditation profiles, and embed live booking on your own website. Our guide on getting found online covers directory listing, ADR association backlinks, and website booking.
